Terms of service

1. Orders

By placing an order and paying a deposit, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to acceptance by Demir Leather.

2. Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Delivery fees and any additional charges will be quoted separately.

3. Payment

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all orders and commence production.

The remaining 70% balance must be paid in full prior to delivery or collection, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Demir Leather.

Ownership of the goods remains with Demir Leather until full payment has been received.

4. Product Variations

As our products are made from genuine leather and natural materials, slight variations in colour, grain, texture, finish, dimensions and appearance may occur. Product images, samples and swatches are indicative only.

5. Delivery & Collection

Estimated delivery dates are provided as a guide only and may change due to manufacturing, shipping or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers must ensure that delivery access is suitable, including doorways, lifts, stair access and clear pathways.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.

6. Storage

If delivery is delayed at the customer's request, Demir Leather may provide temporary storage, subject to availability. Additional storage fees may apply.

7. Cancellations

As many of our products are custom-made or made-to-order, orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

If an order is cancelled prior to production commencing, Demir Leather reserves the right to retain the 30% deposit to cover administrative, design and production preparation costs.

8. Returns & Refunds

Please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or preference regarding colour, texture or finish.

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Warranty

Demir Leather products are covered by applicable warranties as advised at the time of purchase. Natural characteristics of leather, including marks, creasing, scars and variations in colour and texture, are not considered defects.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Demir Leather is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our liability for any claim relating to the products is limited to the purchase price of the affected product.

11. Privacy

Any personal information collected by Demir Leather will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
